I am a strong supporter of Workwise and Jane’s easy and straightforward style. The principles are easy to follow and organise what can be unmanageable into simple and direct approaches to work organisation. We are all trained in many professional disciplines but very few of us are trained in simple techniques for undertaking our work. Even if we are naturally organised people those around you might not have the same attributes. If everyone has different ways of working inefficiencies infect everyday work practices. Getting people more organised and disciplined substantially aids productivity and if everyone follows the same processes even greater efficiencies can be achieved. Workwise goes a long way to minimising wasted time and resources encouraging everyone to work smarter.

Not everyone will be willing to immediately see the benefits but Jane is very able to deal with the most resistant of staff. She is able to turn those most resistant to the benefits of Workwise into real fans.

Workwise was recommended to me by my son who claimed it had made him very organised. That seemed too good to be true but since undertaking the course I too am a proficient user of outlook and I no longer use my in-tray as an additional storage space. All staff here have since done the course which has not only helped the individuals but has enabled us to address some bigger questions about duplication and workflow through the office. At the time, we had just changed to blackberries and with Jane’s training we were able to make maximum use of the calendar and email functions on them. Jane’s approach was fundamental to the success of the course. We all found the sessions entertaining and appreciated her direct and no-nonsense manner. At the same time she was very attentive to individual needs including arranging catch-up sessions for people who missed any parts of the course.

I did the Workwise training in 2006, and still use the principles daily. It has worked well for me particularly in these ways:
• remembering tasks, large or small, is a breeze
• filing electronically & physically is simple and I do it regularly because it’s easy;
